Use this tutorial if you have a program installed on a PC and you want to install it on another but you don't have the installation CD.

- Click here to download a tool that helps you detect files that are related to that program, because without those files, the program won't run.

- Run the program and copy the DLLs and the files from the 1st PC to 2nd PC, but notice that some DLLs are already installed in the 2nd PC so no need to copy them.

- This step is a little tricky, open the Windows Registry by typing regedit in the Run dialog, now in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, look for keys that contain the program name or its company's and copy those keys.

- If the program creates files, try to find in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT the extensions of that program and copy it.

- Some program create a couple of files in the Windows directory or System32 directory.
